FX-I605 – Active Optical USB-C Cable: High-Bandwidth Signal and Power for AV Installations
The FX-I605 active optical USB-C cable features a unidirectional design with a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) jacket and a 6.5mm diameter, supporting deployment in meeting rooms, control spaces, and signage systems requiring extended cable runs. Its dual-mode transmission architecture accommodates both DisplayPort 2.1 and 1.4 protocols alongside high-speed data and power, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of professional AV devices. The halogen-free, EMI-resistant construction and gold-plated contacts deliver reliable performance in electrically demanding environments, while the full-metal housing enhances mechanical durability for fixed or semi-permanent installations. No external power supply is required, simplifying cable topology and integration.

• Dual-Mode DisplayPort Transmission: Supports both 4-lane DP 2.1 and 2-lane DP 1.4 with concurrent 10Gbps data transfer. This enables flexible signal routing for AV systems requiring simultaneous high-resolution video and data connectivity, suitable for hybrid workspaces and control room applications.

• High-Resolution Video Capability: Delivers video signals up to 8K at 30Hz or 4K at 60Hz. This supports deployment in environments where ultra-high-definition displays are required, such as digital signage, conference rooms, or collaborative presentation systems.

• Super-Speed and USB 2.0 Support: Accommodates both Super-Speed USB and legacy USB 2.0 protocols. This ensures broad compatibility with a diverse range of AV peripherals, including cameras, storage devices, and control interfaces, simplifying system integration.

• Integrated 60W Power Delivery: Provides up to 60W Power Delivery (PD) over USB-C. This allows simultaneous power and data/video transmission, reducing cable clutter and supporting devices such as interactive displays, docking stations, or embedded compute modules in AV setups.

• Enhanced Mechanical and EMI Protection: Features gold-plated contacts, a full-metal housing, and halogen-free TPE jacket for improved durability and safety. The cable’s EMI-resistant design minimises signal degradation and attenuation, ensuring stable operation in high-interference AV environments.

Reliable High-Bandwidth Connectivity for AV Environments
By combining active optical transmission with dual-mode DisplayPort and integrated Power Delivery, the FX-I605 supports extended cable runs without external power requirements. Its mechanical and EMI-resistant features provide stable, high-bandwidth connectivity for AV installations in meeting spaces, control rooms, and signage applications, addressing common challenges in signal integrity and system compatibility.
