The PT-IP-HD2K-RX is a dedicated HDMI over IP receiver engineered for professional AV environments requiring reliable 2K video extension, distribution, and matrix switching across standard network infrastructure. Utilising H.264 decoding, this unit supports scalable video delivery and remote device management via integrated IR and RS232 signal reception. The receiver’s passive PoE capability streamlines power distribution through network switches, reducing cabling complexity in installations such as meeting rooms, control rooms, and signage deployments. Additional features include HDMI loop-out for local monitoring and audio breakout, supporting versatile integration scenarios in hybrid AV systems.

• H.264 IP Streaming: Supports real-time H.264 decoding for HDMI signals transmitted over IP networks. This enables efficient video compression and transmission, facilitating high-quality 1080p (60Hz 4:4:4) playback across standard Ethernet infrastructure without requiring dedicated AV cabling.

• 2K HDMI Extension and Distribution: Enables extension, distribution, and matrixing of 1080p HDMI signals over Cat.X cabling up to 120m. The system supports flexible video routing for installations where displays and sources are distributed across large or segmented spaces.
