The PT-E-HD60 HDBaseT 2.0 Extender with RS-232, bi-directional IR, Ethernet, PoC, ARC & USB 2.0 boosts up any A/V transmission distance to up to 100m for HDTV signals with up to FullHD / 1080p with 48-bit color depth or to 80m for max. 4K@60 4:2:0 8bit resolutions.
It also supports the most advanced 3D video formats compliant with HDMI thus guaranteeing perfect 3D video compatibility. With a single Cat.5/5e/6 cable, users can extend HDTV A/V sources from DVD or Bluray players, gaming consoles, PC and any other kind of source to distant display monitors, e. g. HDMI or DVI enabled TV sets or LCD PC monitors.

The advanced design, compliant with the latest HDMI technology incl. HDCP as well as Deep Color video, DTS HD Master Audio and/or Dolby TrueHD ensures perfect compatibility.
This flexibility makes HDCP compliant players transmit the highest quality A/V signal possible over a greater distance at perfect value. In addition, PT-E-HD60 is also equipped with several, bi-directional control options such as IR pass-through, USB2.0 and RS232 serial port. These bonus features allow users to boost the IR control distance to up to 100m using only one single Cat.5/5e/6 cable. In addition, the serial port and USB2.0 connections offer a convenient path for interactive applications, such as touch panels. In addition, PT-E-HD60 also supports PoC (Power over Cable) which can power both units with only one power supply. The ARC function (Audio-Return-Channel) makes it possible to send back the audio signal in the opposite direction of the regular AV-signal. Thus, the audio signal, e. g. from the internal TV-tuner of the TV can directly be sent to an AV-receiver at the transmitter location.

The PT-E-HD60 includes two units: Transmitter (Tx) and Receiver (Rx).
The transmitting unit is used to capture the HDMI input signal incl. the control signals. The receiving unit is responsible for equalizing the transmitted HDMI HDBaseT signal and reconstructing the control signals.

PT-E-HD60 offers a very convenient solution for digital signage applications requiring a very long A/V transmission path.
