The IQ-CAT7 Duplex Ethernet installation cables of the IQ series are designed for the distribution of network signals with up to 10 Gigabit or a maximum frequency of 600MHz on both leads and thus enable IPAV (AV over IP) as well as HDBaseT infrastructures in addition to the conventional TCP/IP distribution. They comply with the Cat.7 standard and feature S/FTP shielding. The combined cable diameter of this "Duplex" cable, featuring two separate full-spec Cat.7 leads, measures 16.4mm, while the single cables have a diameter of 7.7mm.
The installation cables are unassembled on both sides, i.e. they are supplied without connectors. Thanks to the halogen-free cable sheathing (LSZH), various fire protection requirements can also be met. The cable complies with the "CPR Eca+" standard and therefore develops significantly less smoke in the event of fire than cable sheaths manufactured with halogens.
The cables are therefore perfect for installations or laying in buildings / confined spaces where fire safety requirements must be met.
With meter markings on the outer sheath it is very easy to determine the desired cable length. The cable interior is equipped with "Ripcord" filler material which allows for stripping without tools.
The cables are compliant with ISO/IEC 11801, EN50173-1, ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 & IEC60332-1-2.

The Duplex installation cables are available in lengths between 50.00 and 100.00 meters and can therefore also be used for long distances such as for AV over IP or HDBaseT transmission.
