The source-end of an ActiveWire MAX HDMI cable incorporates an advanced TMDS equalisation chipset, that effectively filters electrical noise and interference from the HDMI transmission. The outcome is an increased transmission distance, enabling ActiveWire long-range cable to pass the same data rates as much shorter cables.
